Make a Pottery Barn Pillow Knock-off Pumpkin pillow painted with ilovetcreate fabric paint and pillow cover with a Poly-fil pillow insert DIY and save money. I love Pottery Barn and I love their style. I have quite a few pieces from them in my home. But there are many things that I can make for myself that are inspired by them. This painted pillow was one of them.
I found my inspiration for the pumpkin pillow on a post by my friend Keri Lee. She added a little challenge at the end of the post so I decided to take her up on this one. Especially since I keep fabric paint on hand in my craft room. Fabric painting is something I like to do to enhance my fabric projects. I just opened a new set and snapped a picture so you could see the packing. I also picked up a half dozen of the pillow covers at Michael’s a few weeks ago when they were 60% off. The most I paid was $2.67. I thought I could dec orate them for every season and reuse my pillow insert for them and it would take up a lot less room. I can swap out the pillow covers to suite my mood. Also if you like the vase, I will have a tutorial on that tomorrow.
